Recently, Shanghai Heat Transfer Equipment Co., Ltd. completed and shipped a batch of large HT-BLOC welded plate heat exchangers custom-designed and manufactured for a CNOOC project.
Designed for demanding operating conditions, each unit features a heat duty of up to 20 MW, a pressure rating of 3.0 MPa, and a large heat transfer area. The project also placed stringent requirements on plate forming, core assembly accuracy, and welding quality. During manufacturing, SHPHE maintained strict quality control, achieving a 100% first-pass acceptance rate in welding inspection, while the pressure tests also passed on the first attempt. This fully demonstrates the company’s technical expertise and manufacturing capability in high-end welded heat exchangers.
HT-BLOC is developed for demanding applications requiring high heat transfer efficiency, compact layout, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. It is well suited for reboiling, condensing, and liquid-liquid heat transfer duties in the petroleum, petrochemical, natural gas, chemical, and refining industries.
