With the deepening of global industrial cooperation, overseas projects set higher standards for heat exchange equipment’s stability, process adaptability and service efficiency. As a tech leader in China’s heat exchange equipment field, Shanghai Plate Heat Exchange Equipment Co., Ltd.(SHPHE) makes its gasketed plate heat exchangers the top choice for overseas power, chemical, HVAC, food and pharmaceutical sectors.
With decades of deep expertise in the plate heat exchanger industry, SHPHE has participated in the formulation of a number of national standards for China’s heat exchange equipment industry, including the Standard for Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (NB/T 47004.1), the Standard for Welded Plate Heat Exchangers (NB/T 47004.2), as well as the Rules for Energy Efficiency Testing and Evaluation of Heat Exchangers under the national special equipment safety technical specification TSG R0010.
In China, plate heat exchangers are classified into different energy efficiency grades, an important measure to advance energy conservation and emission reduction efforts. In accordance with TSG R0010, and following testing and evaluation by the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Heat Exchanger Products (Shanghai), SHPHE was awarded the Energy-Saving Registration Certificate for Plate Heat Exchangers jointly issued by the China Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation Promotion Association and the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Heat Exchanger Products (Shanghai). As the first certified enterprise, SHPHE holds the certificate number: BHJN-001-2024.
The outstanding performance of plate heat exchangers is reflected not only in their core advantages, but also supported by clear performance indicators and guaranteed by full compliance with industrial standards. Relying on decades of technical data accumulation and CFD simulation analysis, SHPHE has developed a full range of gasketed plate heat exchangers.
Core Performance Parameters:
- Design Pressure: ≤3.0MPa
- Design Temperature:≤180 °C
- Gasket Materials: EPDM, HEPDM, NBR, HNBR, N8, FKM
- Port Diameter: DN32~DN500

The number of plates, assembly configurations, and plate materials can be flexibly adjusted to suit different industries and applications. Our heat exchangers are adaptable to complex media environments including acidic/alkaline solutions, high temperature, pressure, and viscosity fluids, and are widely used in power, metallurgy, HVAC, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and environmental protection industries.
SHPHE’s gasketed plate heat exchangers strictly comply with domestic and international industrial standards. Domestically, the products meet national standards such as NB/T 47004 Plate Heat Exchangers and GB/T 28592-2022 General Plate Heat Exchangers. Internationally, they conform to the world’s mainstream standard systems including ASTM, EN and JIS, and hold the ASME U Stamp, NB Registration, EU CE (PED) Certification, as well as certifications from BV, SGS and CCS. The products fit overseas project bidding & acceptance requirements, realize compliance without modification and greatly cut the project cycle.
3. Application Cases
SHPHE supplied 30 gasketed plate heat exchangers for a 300MW combined cycle power plant project of a Nigerian company, providing cooling for the closed circulating water system of all precision auxiliary equipment. This project has imposed stringent requirements on the temperature control accuracy, adaptability and reliability of heat exchange equipment.
Based on the project operating conditions, SHPHE tailor-made an exclusive heat exchange solution for it. The equipment adopts 316L stainless steel plates paired with high-performance EPDM gaskets, enhancing corrosion resistance and anti-leakage performance to ensure the cleanliness of the circulating water system.
- Plate Material: S31603 (316L)
- Gasket Material: EPDM
- Heat Transfer Area: 650 ㎡ per unit
- Design Code: ASME BPVC. VIII.1-2025
