Recently, Shanghai Heat Transfer Equipment Co.,Ltd.(SHPHE) completed the design, fabrication and delivery of a batch of post-incinerator Air Preheater for a major domestic lithium iron phosphate (LFP) project, marking another benchmark application in the new energy materials sector.
The hot-side medium of this heat exchanger batch is high-temperature incinerator exhaust. Tailored for the demanding conditions of lithium battery sintering exhaust gas—high temperatures and complex compositions—the project adopts an all-welded plate structure, which offers resistance to both thermal stress and corrosion while effectively mitigating the risk of dust clogging to ensure long-term continuous operation of production lines.
By efficiently recovering waste heat from incineration exhaust gas and recycling it for thermal energy use, the solution helps production lines cut costs and reduce carbon emissions. It also effectively lowers the exhaust temperature to protect downstream equipment such as water scrubbers, achieving both waste gas treatment and energy-saving goals.
SHPHE’s air preheater series offers both flat and corrugated plate designs. The flow channels are free of dead zones and less prone to ash accumulation. With a modular design, the products can flexibly adapt to the space layout and process requirements of large-scale projects. Our proprietary air film technology effectively prevents dew-point corrosion, ensuring long-term stable operation.
Leveraging our expertise in heat transfer technology, SHPHE will continue to deepen its presence in the new energy materials industry. Through custom heat exchange equipment, we provide reliable waste heat recovery solutions for projects in lithium battery, chemical, and other sectors, promoting green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the new energy industry.
